Whether you're considering attending your first Tres Dias weekend or you're ready to give back by serving on a team, there is a place for you. Here’s how to begin:

Attend as a Candidate

Who Can Attend?

Anyone who:

  • Has made a personal commitment to Jesus Christ

  • Is active in a local church or desiring to grow spiritually

  • Is invited and sponsored by someone who has already attended a Tres Dias weekend

You don’t need to be perfect or know everything about your faith—you just need a willing heart to grow.

How to Attend

  • Talk to a Sponsor

    • A current Tres Dias participant (friend, family member, church member) can sponsor you.

    • If you don’t know someone who can sponsor you, reach out to your South Hudson Tres Dias community—we’ll help connect you!

  • Fill Out an Application

    • Your sponsor will help you complete a candidate application and walk with you through the process.

  • Prepare for the Weekend

    • Your sponsor will handle logistics and prayerfully support you.

    • You’ll just need to come with an open heart, comfortable clothes, and a desire to grow in Christ.

What You'll Gain

  • A deeper walk with Jesus

  • Encouragement and renewal for your Fourth Day

Serve as a Team Member

After you've attended a Tres Dias weekend as a candidate, you become eligible to serve on a future team. Serving is a powerful way to grow in your faith and help others experience God’s love.

How to Join a Team

  • Let Someone Know You’re Interested

    • Speak to your sponsor, reunion group members, or a past team leader.

    • You can also indicate interest at a Secuela or contact the community’s Pre-Weekend Chair or Team Selection Coordinator.

  • Be Invited to Serve

    • Team leaders prayerfully build each team and may contact you to serve in a specific role.

  • Attend Team Meetings

    • These meetings take place in the weeks leading up to the weekend and help prepare the team spiritually and practically.

Ways to Serve

  • Table Leader – guides candidates in table discussions

  • Rollo Room Team – supports talks and prayer

  • Kitchen Crew – cooks and serves meals with joy

  • Music Team – leads worship

  • Prayer Team – covers every part of the weekend in prayer

  • Palanca Team – prepares encouraging messages and gifts

  • Spiritual Director – ordained clergy providing spiritual leadership
